Blogtober Day 2: The Body Shop Favorites

Hey everyone! Hope you’re doing good. Welcome to Blogtober Day 2!

The Body Shop is a brand whose products have worked very well for me since quite a few years. I love their ideology and it’s a huge plus because they’re a cruelty free brand and believe in community fair trade. Since I’ve burnt quite a big hole in my pocket in TBS retail therapy, I thought it’ll be a good idea to share my favorites.

So, here are my favorites from The Body Shop

1.Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

One of my absolute favorite masks, it is! Super effective and true to its name, it deeply cleanses to give a natural glow. It is a mud textured exfoliating mask enriched with charcoal and has tiny green tea leaves. Doesn’t strip off the moisture, yet leaves your skin squeaky clean. It’s great for people with oily skin and those who complain of clogged pores.

2. Vitamin E Hydrating Toner

If you’ve still not included a toner in your skincare routine, you don’t know what you’re missing. One tiny step makes such a difference in the way your skin looks and feels. The Vitamin E toner is gentle and hydrating. Doesn’t make your skin dry at all which is great! It’s clarifying yet moisturizing, so a big yaay!

3. Shower Gel

I cannot zero down which one I like the most. I’ve used Satsuma, strawberry, moringa, argan oil, virgin mojito, and raspberry. They’re a soap free formula, lather well, and feel nice and refreshing.

A big thanks to Angel, my cute neighbor for helping me!

The only thing I don’t like, it’s a huge bottle and wont get over until you’re bored. This is great in a way because that makes it completely value for money.

Price –345/- for 250ml

4. Banana Conditioner

OMG this smells heavenly, almost delicious! If you’re a fan of banoffee pie, you need this in your life. You can use it in combination with the Banana shampoo or Banana hair pack, for that extra care. Its super thick, so you just need a tiny amount. I have to say that although it makes your hair smooth and soft, it doesn’t do much for the frizz.

5. British Rose Hand Cream

The entire British Rose range is my new favorite, after the evergreen strawberry. The best part about The Body Shop hand creams is that they’re not sticky. So like me, if your hands become dry and you don’t like that sticky gloopy feeling, then give their hand creams a try. The smaller packing is travel friendly.

6. Tea Tree 3 in 1 Wash Scrub Mask

Tea tree is one of their bestsellers in the skincare range. This particular multitasking hero product is great. While maa loves to use it as a scrub, I like to use it as a face wash. It’s great if you have blemishes or uneven skin tone. Also helps get rid of tanning to a certain extent with its fine exfoliating action.

7. Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet

While I didn’t like the body sorbet, I’m a huge fan of this face cream. It is so light and gets absorbed instantly. Since it’s a water based sorbet, it hydrates your skin without being too greasy or sticky. Moisturizes intensely and can be used in all seasons.  The texture is pretty similar to Clinique Moisture Surge.

Price – 1095/- for 50ml
