Half of the year is over and HOW!

It’s time for June favorites. I haven’t tried a lot of new things this past month, just rediscovering some old favorites. So without any more rambling, let’s get going.
- Himalaya Litchi Shine Lip Care
I have to say that Himalaya lip balms have pleasantly surprised me. Every time they have exceeded my expectations. I’ve tried strawberry and cocoa variants, and this time it is litchi. It is free from preservatives, petroleum jelly, mineral oil, and silicones.

It’s not thick or sticky, yet moisturizes your lips very well. Stays on for a couple of hours and leaves a pale pink shiny tint on the lips. The taste is the best thing, after affordability. It is exactly like litchi juice smeared on your lips, very delicious!
The only negative – the bullet breaks at the bottom very easily.
Price – 140/- for 4.5g
2. Nykaa Nude Nail Polishes
I am legit obsessed with the nudes nail polish collection by Nykaa. Have been wearing them non-stop throughout the month. It is difficult to choose a favorite among the normal and matte range, so including 2 of both.

The formulation is good, staying power is great (4-5 days before it starts to chip), and so many colors to choose from. You’ll definitely find a nude for yourself (pun unintended).

Price – 179/- (normal) and 199/- (matte)
3. The Face Shop Hand Cream – Macadamia
I cannot have enough hand creams. Got this in one of the Nykaa sales and trust me, it is good. Its thick and creamy but not sticky, which is always a plus.

The fragrance is a mix of vanilla and hazelnut – soothing and calming, almost like the heavenly mountain fragrance. It is sleek and tiny, so you can easily put it in your bag and use it throughout the day.
Price – 300/- for 30ml
4. The Body shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash Scrub Mask
There can never be a ‘favorites’ post without The Body Shop goodness. Such is the level of fangirl.
I and mum have been using it as a mask all through June, and it has shown effective results. It has a strong tea tree oil fragrance. The microbeads are small but exfoliate well when you use it as a scrub. The texture is creamy and sets to powdery.

For blemish prone skin it is great. Regular use has reduced mum’s blemishes considerably. For a quick cleanup session at home, it is a nice mask.
Price – 1295/- for 125ml
5. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lipstick – Forever Fuchsia
Thank you bestie for knowing my lipstick choices so well!

This one is a bright fuchsia color, perfect for all seasons. It has a satin finish as you apply, but give it 10 minutes and it’ll become a super pretty semi-matte finish. Plus points for the color coded cap. It makes it so easy to recognize the lipstick.

The color payoff is amazing, lasts through the day and even survives a meal. Doesn’t bleed, feather, or settle into fine lines. What else can you possible ask for?
Price – 1150/- for 2.5g
6. The Nature’s Co. Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash
“When one has tasted watermelon, he knows what the angels eat.” – Mark Twain
For all you watermelon lovers, this baby awaits to be added to cart. It smells delicious, just like watermelon pulp.

The exfoliating granules are fine, thus, you get gentle exfoliation. It lathers up well, so you need just a tiny amount. Use it with scrub gloves for super soft skin. You can thank me later!!
Price – 845/- for 250ml
It isn’t the most affordable or the most effective scrub, but the watermelon attracted me.
Do let me know what all have you loved in the month of June. Just another reason to shop in the upcoming sales!
See you soon. Byeee….
