Spreading joy and happiness with this Christmas Cracker Book Tag
A book with wintery cover.
Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts (by Lucy Dillon). I need to gather courage to read this one soon though, because I know its going to be a sob fest.
Pick a book you’re likely to buy as a present.
It’ll actually depend who am I buying this gift for, but the two picks are – The Hate U Give (by Angie Thomas) and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (by Benjamin Alire Saenz)
Pick a festive themed book
I’ll say The Forty Rules of Love (by Elif Shafak). Its heartwarming, takes you on a journey of discovering love, and celebrates the biggest festival – LIFE.
Pick a book you can curl up with by the fireplace.
Well, it can be any! But from my current TBR I’ll pick Sleeping Giants (by Sylvian Neuvel). Its sci-fi, thriller, perfect for a chillin’ cozy reading session.
Pick a book you want to read for the festive period.
Let’s choose a happy romance one for this – The Kiss Quotient (by Helen Hoang)
Pick a book that’s so good it gives you chills.
Second Chance Summer (by Morgan Matson). It’s a summer contemporary, but I could relate to the story on such a deep personal level that it left me sobbing and emotional!
Pick a book going on your Christmas wish list.
Its on my wish list since a couple of months now – A Little Life (by Hanya Yanagihara). Cannot wait to read it and get my heart broken into a million pieces, or so I’ve heard.
Share your picks in the comments section below and let’s celebrate a bookish Christmas together virtually. Hope you have a great day! Love…
