Hi everyone! Its #blogtober Day 5 and today we talk fashion!
It’s right that fashion has no size, but when you dress according to your body type it just accentuates your curves and enhances the overall look. If you’re a plus size girl or a curvy girl who’s somewhat apprehensive in trying latest fashion trends, then now is the time to break the shell and embrace those curves.

The 6 Step Curvy Girl Dressing Guide
1. Dress as per your body shape
Not all of us have the same body shape. Find out what’s your body shape – rectangular, apple, pear, or hourglass, and then dress accordingly. Choose fabrics, cuts, and silhouettes that highlight your strong features and conceal your flaws cleverly.

If you’re bottom heavy, avoid wearing skinny fit denims. Opt for boyfriend jeans or mama fit denims instead. For all you beauties with apple shaped body, flowly silhouettes starting from your empire waistline will look flattering. Next comes hourglass body shape – dresses that cinch your waist, wrap tops, and high waist pants look great.

2. Invest in the right lingerie
Cannot stress enough on how important it is to wear the right lingerie! If you have heavy breasts invest in some full coverage bras with thick straps for great support and shape. Seamless panties or tummy tuckers work great when you’re wearing a fit dress.

3. Slay with skater dresses
Skater dresses can be a curvy girl’s best friend. The A-line silhouette works beautifully to highlight your curves. You can wear a mini skater dress to flaunt your toned legs, or go bold with an off-shoulder or halter neck look for that added oomph.

4. Break the rules
Curvy girls shouldn’t wear stripes, big floral prints aren’t for you, color blocking will make you look bulkier….aahhh! Dress up the way you like and don’t let fashion rules define your style.
Layer up a horizontal striped top with a solid colored kimono to amp up a basic look. Go bold with florals, just remember to balance it with one basic element in your outfit.

Experiment with color blocking and monotone looks, you never know which style strikes a chord… Layering is such a fashionable way to conceal your problem areas. Wear a shrug over a dress, or over your basic denim and graphic tee to add an edge to the look.

5. Accessorize it right
Adding the right accessories can take your look a notch higher. Style a V-neck top with a statement neckpiece. A bold chunky bracelet is a great idea to deviate attention. Belts also make a great accessory and for curvy girls, broad belts do the trick. And girls, how can your forget your bag? Carry a large tote or a boho handbag for that added element in your look.

6. Keep it simple and straight
Well defined straight kurtis or simple shift dresses and button down shirt dresses work extremely well with curvy girls. You can experiment with the print or layer it up for fun.
Pair your straight kurtas with slim fit pants or churidars for more definition. You can also cinch your waist with a broad belt to accentuate those curves.
